What time can we check-in from?

You can check in at The Hideaway any time after 4pm. If you are arriving late or wish to arrive earlier, please contact us and we will do all we can to meet your needs.

What time do we have to check-out by?

We would appreciate a departure time of 10am, so that we can fully prepare the apartment for the next guests.

Will someone meet us at The Hideaway to show us round?

We will always be there on your arrival to show you round and point out all the things you need to know.

What happens if we have a query?

You can call at our house next door or contact us on 3469698482 any time.

Is the apartment fully equipped?

The apartment is fully equipped with everything we feel you need to have a pleasant and comfortable stay. If you feel there is anything you would like to see in the apartment for you next visit, please let us know and we will do our best to supply it.

Do you supply all linen and towels?

We provide all linen and towels for the apartment  including a towel for the pool.

What facilities do you have for children?

If required, we can provide a high chair, cot, blanket, sheets, baby bath, games, night light, outdoor games, plates and cutlery.

Is there a telephone at The Hideaway?

There is no telephone in the apartement but you may use ours in case of emergency. There is good mobile reception for the Vodafone and O2 networks.

Is there internet access and do we need to bring our laptop?

We do have wi-fi access in the garden and under the loggia and you would need to bring your own laptop. However, if there was an emergency, you can always use ours!

Are there any shops nearby?

Our nearest shops are in Comunanza 3km's away. Here you will find several small supermarkets, butchers, bakeries, florists, newsagents, banks, post office, chemists, fish shop and many others.

Our nearest shopping centre is in Ascoli Piceno, 25 km's away and the old town is a delight to wander around with many individual interesting shops to browse.

There are many famous brand factory outlet shops in the region, including shoes, handbags and leather goods, all produced locally.

Do you have a barbecue?

Yes we do have a barbecue which uses coal or wood.

Can you suggest any good restaurants for us to dine at?

Yes we are more than willing to share our knowledge of excellent restaurants in the area. There are so many  serving delicious regional dishes. Look out for vincigrassi - wafer thin sheets of home made lasagne, layered with meat, so light! Then there is the ravioli filled with sage and lemon butter, wild boar stews, pork cooked with garlic,  pigs trotters, ascolana olives, merlino, mialino (succulent baby pork) not to mention all the local wine!

Can you suggest itinaries or places to visit?

We provide you with lots of leaflets and booklets about our beautiful area and can tell you about great day trips out from The Hideaway. If you prefer not to drive, you can always take one of our guided tours and let us show you around. Please enquire here for prices.

We are looking to buy a house in the area. Can you help us find property?

We have had lots of experience with buying and renovating an old farmhouse and would love to help in any way that we can. We have contacts with estate agents, commercialistas, geometras, local builders and skilled craftsmen, so please ask for advice. We can arrange viewing days with local, reputable estate agents, hopefully finding your perfect home.
