Well we first met in 1984 at a catering college in Nottingham and have been working together in the hospitality and catering industry ever since. We fell in love with Italy and especially the stunning Le Marche region, where we were very lucky to find  "The Hideaway" in 2001. We immediatly knew it was the place we wanted to be as soon as we set eyes on the two derelict farm buildings and have been restoring our traditional Italian farmhouse ever since.  Where ever possible, the original materials have been cleaned up & used again - keeping  the building as close as it was 300 years ago.

 

We love growing fruit & veggies in our garden & living as healthy as possible, whilst loving our stunning, peaceful surroundings.

 

We would like to share our little piece of Italy with you &  we invite you to experience all the things we love about this traditional land. If we can be of any assistance, especially with property buying, restorantion or builders (as we have been through it all before) then please do not hesitate to contact us. We live on site, so are on hand for our guests if need be.

To reserve your holiday with us, a deposit of 25% secures your booking and we will remove your chosen holiday dates from any instant booking websites we are listed on. You can send a bank transfer in Euros or Sterling or pay through Paypal (there is a small surcharge of 4% for Paypal payments to cover part of the charges made by Paypal)  

 

Full confirmation will be sent to you as soon as your deposit  is received, as well as comprehensive directions on how to find us.The balance of your holiday is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival date and we can send you a reminder if you so wish. If you have any questions at any time, or wish to pay monthly for your holiday, please do not hesitate to contact us.  If your reservation is less than 8 weeks before your holiday commences, then we will require full payment at the time of booking.

 

Arrival and Departure Times

 

Lettings often run from Saturday to Saturday for the apartment, but where ever possible, we will be flexible to suit your requirements and flight timetable. Please contact us to check availability. Check-in time is from 4.00pm and we would appreciate a departure time of 10.00am, so that the apartment can be full prepared for the next guests.

 

Your rental includes a final cleaning of the apartment, but as our turn-around time is tight on changeover days and our standards of cleanliness are high, we would appreciate if you could leave the apartment the same as when you arrived. Thanks.

 

There is no minimum number of nights stay for the en-suite bedrooms. All our traditional rooms are fully equipped to make your stay a home from home. Much care and attention is taken to provide just about everything you need for a perfect holiday, however optional extras can be arranged to suit your requirements.

 

Car Rental

 

Without doubt, the best way to see the most of this beautiful countryside is to rent your own car. With the freedom to go when and where you like, you can see so much more on your holiday. We can give you advice on the more reasonable rental companies located at all the major airports.

 

Activities

 

Excursions, including day trips, paragliding, ballooning, mountain walks, mule trecking, skiing and various other activities within a short drive from Villa Conti. Some of these can be pre-booked if you would like us to. Please ask for further information. We can suggest  delightful driving routes, walking itineries & cycling routes in the local area.

 

Bike Hire

 

Whether you are an extreme cyclist or just like a little gentle excercise, mountain bikes and E-bikes can be rented nearby and are excellent way to explore the surrounding countryside.  

 

Please Note

* We welcome families but please note that young children should be supervised at all times when at The Hideaway, as there are some hard floors, sloping grounds & steps.

* Please make sure you arrange your own holiday insurance as travelling without this is inadvisable.

* Whilst we do our very best to ensure a peaceful stay with us, you may experience the usual sounds which occur in the rural countryside, such as chickens, a tractor or a dog barking! There are no main roads nearby and as we have our own lane, there are no problems with noises (or pollution!) from traffic.

* Whist we love animals and welcome small dogs to stay in the apartments,please note your pets are not allowed to be left unattended at any time. They must have their own bed and are not allowed on the furniture, Please make sure you clen up after your dog in the garden as we may have other guests and small children staying. Thank you.
